I was looking to buying an e90 lci csl trunk but want to make sure fitment is good. Anyone have any experience with ecstunnings trunk? Right now they have a carbon fiber for $539 which is the best I can find right now.

I was in the market for one and got a used seibon lci trunk which fits great for 400 used before that i was going to buy one for 650 shipped so 539 is amazing

Haha I know I'm light weight confused to why it's so cheap for a full cf. just hope fitment is alright

I just ordered mine yesterday! But they emailed me this morning saying there on back order. When I placed my order it was in stock but I guess not anymore... Hope the wait is worth it

mario k has it and another guy in NY I think or chicago but that guy's shop made a review on the labor the trunk still needed but i'd personally get one, it's the closest that I can see to DD or karbonwerke

I purchased this trunk 12/1/15 when it was in-stock. After 3 emails of them delaying shipping the item, it was shipped 1/15/16. Upon receiving the trunk I was very disappointed. The trunk's CF was very low quality. The trunk had lines running through the CF, many imperfections in the clear coat and CF. The trunk was missing many cut outs (I.e license plate holes, Bmw badge holes, the trunk lock hole and more). I wanted the trunk on my car bad, so I took it to my local installer for him to fit the trunk then I'll just have to paint the trunk and not show the CF. Upon showing the trunk to the installer he laughed. He said the amount to prep work and paint it would be over 1k. So I returned the trunk to ECS and asked for them to send me another. Again they said they had them in stock and lone behold the next morning they send me another email delaying the shipment until 4/15/16. I called and they refunded me the money back. Waste of time buying this item through them. Their customer service reps did not care about my experience nor offering me a solution. Long time customer but not anymore.... I feel it's not worth the wait or hassle for a low quality product.

was it for the full cf trunk or trunk with just the CF on top?
