DRL on FRM2 VS FRM3

I have originally had FRM1 in my car.

I am retrofitting xenon (non AHL) on my car. I have FRM2 and FRM3 and comparing the benefits of one on the other so I can flog the other one.

Now I know that on FRM3, I can code 'follow me home light' on the remote whereas I cannot do that on FRM2.

My main concern is DRL and that is most important to me.

My car never had auto headlight switch.

So here is my comparison.

on FRM2

When you code
VERHALTEN_DRL_TFL
to
tfl_s

then your DRLs are ON even if the headlight switch is off. (brilliant for me).

on FRM3

if I can keep the same lines to tfl_s, it does not turn on the DRL (halo rings) when the switch is off.

I wonder if there is a way to code FRM3 to keep the DRLs ON when the headlight switch is off?

Thanks.

P.S: Attached file for FRM3.

DRLs are DRLs. I don't think it makes a difference between the module. From my personal experience when I retrofitted a frm2, try to choose the module that is more valuable. I had the option of getting a regular one or one with AHL for 20$ more. Obviously ahl is more valuable so I went with that. If I knew the frm3 had the fmh lights I would've got that instead but that wouldn't justify the 100$ price difference on eBay

Just to clarify both of these FRM2 and FRM3 are for xenon lights.
The only difference is
FRM2 is with AHL
and FRM3 is without AHL

But that should not change DRLs being on all the time.

If you need AHL, get AHL. Simple as that

Thanks.
Its irrelevant to original post.
We are discussing drls and not ahls.

Ps: Its clearly mentioned in the first post that my xenons are non- AHL.

As I said again before, you get DRLs with frm2 and 3. Please forgive me for trying to be more informative because clearly you don't want my help in making a decision between which frm to get.

Any other take on this?

I take it that DRL lights wiring is different on FRM3?

I believe there is a parameter to keep the drl on on frm3.

Tested It last week on pre-facelift with frm3 and it works perfectly. The ae are on when the light switch is off or on auto. The car does have xenon with ahl.
