no HID's here, but I do have the 2500k yellows in the fogs right now...

sorry noob question, whats the difference between a 35watt HID and a 55watt HID?

35W is the standard operation wattage of HID, you need some form of a relay or resistor to trick the computer into believing that it is running at 55W.

55W is the new, high output HID wattage and is also the same as the halogen bulbs, so it probably won't throw a bulb out code

first pic was at night with no flash... guess it is the camera...
they look very yellow in person at night...

at first I didn't like them, and I put the 4350's back in but now I decided to go back to the 2500's.

luckily a fog swap only take like 10 mins tops.

I got my bulbs from http://www.retro-solutions.com/hidbulbs.html

The person that runs it (Todd) is great to deal with. I forget which size fog you guys run on the e9x, but they only have 2000k in sizes H1, H11, H7, and 9005.

As for the resistor for the bulbs out warning you're talking about, I believe one of the sponsor here sells one called the "CANBUS FIX" that should fix the problem
