Now that I have gotten caught up on "As the Pie Run Turns", Paul called CMO to let them know about our group. They have asked that we call ahead w/ our pie orders. This is because they want to be able to accomodate everyone because we are a large group arriving early in the morning and some of us may buy 5-10 pies. Multiply that by the 20+ people going and we will deplete their supply rather quickly.
This can also serve as a chance to ask about a pie that is not on their site. I think Paul referenced us a the BMW group.

Also the weather that we are expecting on Sat. if for Sat. night, not Sat. day, so don't wuss out.

2 hours? must be reallly really back roads..lol. i think the "normal" road takes about an hour or so right? just wanna make sure so on my way back, it won't take forever,

btw - any cops along the way to the pie? im not familiar with MD but i know there are less cops and they are usually less of an ass compare to the ones in VA, which is gotta be one of the worst, if not the worst, in the US.

None that I saw, except for the Nat'l Park police around Catoctin Mtn. For obvious reasons (Camp David).

THe only unpaved roads are at the vineyard in VA about 1/2 mile which are at the very end of the 2nd half of the run. But that is only if you are following me for the rest of the run after lunch in Hagerstown as I'm doing the rest of the 2nd dry run for the NCC Winter Drive.

I am anal about my car also. With the unpaved road I drive slow and have had no issues w/ stones flying up.

not sure which way we're going if it takes that long to go from Sugar Loaf Mtn to CMO, but usually there arent many cops on Rt 15 for the trip back (for those only doing the pie run and not going to Hagerstown).
