The WMA3000B is a plug-and-play wireless Bluetooth music adapter designed for original BMW/ MINI Cooper factory fitted iPod kits as well as aftermarket in-car iPod integration utilizing A2DP technology. Initially, bluetooth was designed to transmit voice using a 64kbps bandwidth. This was perfect for wireless calling but lacked the ability to transmit music or other complex media without a tremendous drop in sound quality. Enter the A2DP protocol which allows transmission bandwidths of up to 768kbps allowing audio to be transmitted in its intended quality without any loss of fidelity. Use this adapter to easily communicate with Apple’s iPhone, iPod and iPad instead of manually plugging the iPod into the connector every time you enter the car. Streams music from Android, Apple, and Windows devices.
