this is actually quite old...i've upgraded to full leather since the first post. They are heavier than stock seats in my E92 but are definately worth the upgrade. Feels a lot firmer and comfortable. The quality of the leather is also better (Napa leather) so its a great upgrade. The total cost of the upgrade depends on how cheap you can find the seats for. The materials used to retrofit cost less than $30 altogether.

If you already have power seats - is this pretty much plug and play to swap out the stock sport power seats and put in the M3 seats?

Not necessarily...for some reason BMW decided to have different wiring schemes depending on the car. It's the same harness but you may have to change the locations of certain pins so that power meets power and ground meets ground if you know what I mean

It's a Dynavin D99. Got it off another forum member here but I think a few online stores carry it as well. Works great and definitely worth the money!
