no definitely not 5000, I said $5.00. I'm making fun of the people speculating and arguing about pricing. it's not finalized so there is nothing I can say at this point.

ok? I don't recall ever saying otherwise. they are faster in a boring quarter mile but I personally don't give 2 shits about the quarter mile. give me a road course and a manual transmission any day over an auto.

manual transmissions are more fun... end of story.

no offense to the auto guys, but it's just not for me.

how are the roads in CT? I would have a manual if I didn't get stuck in traffic sometimes going 8mph on a 70mph freeway here in Houston. My leg would throw in the towel.

My biggest regret with this car is not getting a manual. Was nervous about the traffic around Boston so got the 6AT, but even with the paddle shifters it's not as fun as driving a stick.

Could really care less which is quicker in the 1/4 mile...

I think this is the first time in my life where I can say "I wish I still lived on the east coast" JP, do you think you will have any results this week, or do we have to wait a little while longer?

depends mostly on weather and my work load. it's been raining horribly all weekend, and it should continue through Monday I think. hopefully I can get back on the dyno for some race gas results soon

Good luck. I think this will be a viable option.

i don't know, a little (a lot) OT but i think for someone to be able to use the DSG/DKG/etc effectively you should at least know how to drive a stick. in both scenarios you are demanding more input from the car as opposed to just cruising on full auto. maybe this is just the next evolutionary step.
