Thanks in advance guys!
I purchased the oem plugs on Amazon. Comes with a set of 6. You will also need the spark plug tool and a 10" extension for the socket to reach the plug. I have the BMS spark plug tool. It's magnetic and holds the plug in. Just did the job last night and everything is great =)

Here is the link for the plugs.

Thanks DJ appreciate it!

What's up guys,

I'm looking for a CF spoiler and wondering where everyone got theirs from, and for how much. I think the original BMW performance CF spoiler is about $500ish, but I see after market ones for much cheaper. Any reason why I shouldn't go with the after market ones?

Thanks!

I think that lip would look good on my ride too but I worry about reduced ground clearance on my lowered car. Your car looks like stock height, but still - do you have to drive differently out of parking lots/over speed bumps because of this lip?

Thanks!

Yeah it's stock and i just had it installed today so can't tell you. I dont think it adds much height as it does in length, so I think speed bumps should be fine. Just have to be extra careful coming out of parking lots on a slant. I plan to put in pro kits for this very reason.

Thanks please do post up if you develop an opinion (particularly if it's negative). The length is likely to cause as much of a concern as the height as it reduces the approach angle which matter for both parking lot exits and speedbumps.

Thanks again!

Sounds kind of like this maybe a bit louder. I have the jb4 with the flaps open at all times. It not as loud as I like it so I'm thinking of getting catless midpipes. I'm comming from a b5 Sr completely catless with one mid resonator and that was LOUD

Hey guys gonna replace my spark plugs in a couple of days and was wondering if I needed to gap the plugs or if they already come gapped? Also was reading about some using anti seize, I'm assuming this isn't necessary?

Thanks in advance!

If you buy the stock Bosch plugs then you should be ok but it's always wise to check them regardless but then then likely they should be ready to go. If you are modded and decide to upgrade to the NGK plug which is one heat range colder you'll need to gap them yourself. I just installed new plugs over the weekend myself and went NGK which cleaned up a timing correction issue I was having on my original 17k OEM plugs. FYI, NGK plugs should be gapped down to .022 if you go that route. Hope that helps...

You do not need anti-seize. It is also not recommended by BMW. just swap the plugs out and torque it down to 23NM (17 ft lbs).

Finally bit the mod bug and went from Cobb Stage 1 all the way to Cobb Stage 1+ FMIC with a Protune from ProTuningFreaks (only on v1 of the map so far). Also installed a VRSF 7" FMIC, VRSF CP and Turbosmart Dual Port DV/BOV upgrade to handle the added boost. I am running pump 91 (SoCal) and had minor timing corrections using the OTS map. PTF got rid of almost all of my timing corrections on the first try.

The results have been RIDICULOUS after the PTF tune vs. OTS!!!! INSANE mid-range (from 3-5k). I can honestly say that going from OTS to PTF is the most dramatic improvement since purchasing the Cobb AP 3 and upgrading to Stage 1 Sport.

I am having a hard time finding a replacement euro blind spot side mirror set. Anyone know any part numbers, vendors, etc?

I have auto dim, heated and auto dip. Finding the right ones is a pain!

OEM or aftermarket?

I recently put the FMIC to run the Cobb stage 1+. It run hard but I want more!!! The protune is an additionnal map to put into your car via Cobb AP?

How much hp do you think?

Yes, its a new map that you'd need to flash.

Here is a 70-120 pull in Mexico

The map isn't complete yet. PTF and I are still trying to figure out how to work out timing corrections on ACN 91

Hey guys,

What operating temps do you get to on a bonestock vehicle? Now that the weather has warmed up in the northeast (finally) I'm noticing that after some spirited driving the temp gauge gets to the 250 line and never goes above or below. This is after some hard accelerations on that sweet 370lbs TQ

Is this normal operating temp or does this seem high? Oil has been changed every 4k miles and car only has 27k miles with full services done throughout life of car
