icic, no accidents, just that i'm scared he might take advantage of me with the VIN#, this is my first time selling a car privately...

NEW PROBLEM:

as i was saying i'm still financing for the car and still has a great amount to pay until the car is technically mine.

i asked the finance service departments, and they said i must mail a cheque to them to pay out the car first before i can sell the car...

this means that i must get 20 thousand dollars to pay for the car, and wait about 1 week for the cheque to get through...before i can get the money from my buyer...

i dont' think i have 20K with me right now, anyone have any suggestions to what i can do?

what is that done?

ask the bank to loan you the money so you can have a bulk to buy out the car.

once the car is under your title, then sell it. use the money got from selling the vehicle and pay the bank back on whatever amount you borrow~
