You haven't provided any info on condition of the alloys, no reference to tyre brand or condition, no pictures. It will be very difficult for anyone to give you an offer.

I do realise that people can contact you and ask these questions, but you are the one selling, I think a little more effort is required.

I have noticed that this forum is awash with 'for sale' posts that don't give an asking price, a strange concept to me.

If I am selling something I provide basic info, pics and definately an asking price

Agreed, the only site i know where an asking price is not compulsory, its more like an auction house with sealed bids. Very easy to make out someone else is interested in order to bump up someones offer (shaddow bidding lol) as its all out of sight in PM's

N.B. not suggesting in any way the OP would do that by the way lol

Sorry about that guys I will get some pictures of them and give all the information about the tyres and alloys.

I normally put prices. But in this case I don't know how much they are worth.

One reason that is because I saw a post before and this dude gave a price as he didn't know how much they where worth. And people started moaning at him. Which wasn't nice, I felt sorry for him.

Yes, I totally understand that point. I've been in a similar position. I usually do a search on eBay/pistonheads etc, then evaluate my item in comparison. I usually think of my fair price, then knock off 10-20% for forum members as I like the idea of a forum helping out each other, where possible.

If a large number of people suggest that my price is too high, then I would certainly reconsider, but not if it were just one person who was moaning.

I would also put whether you are willing to courier them, which will give you a MUCH wider audience or whether they are pickup only

I genuinely don't mean to be just critical, I was making a wider statement about the forum in general.

if you want me to remove my posts from your thread, then I'd be happy to oblige

I also may be interseted in your wheels, depending on price/condition of course

Again, I apologize if you feel I have hijacked your thread

If you have 4 front M3 wheels then I believe the offset is okay for E90's, but the rear M3 offset is MASSIVELY different.

It's all good dude. No harm done. You don't need to apologise or remove it.

Thank for the advise and tips.

I will upload some pictures. Just been busy working late nights and i don't have time to go on the computer to upload picture. Would be awesome if you could upload pictures from the forum app.

I will upload the pictures asap

And how do you disable your OBD port. In the process of buying an M3, and am worried that until a tracker is fitted, its not covered for theft.

Yep just one is kerbed.

The OBD plug is where they code and start the car from which is in the footwell drive side. I have moved the some where in my car, so they would have to take the car part to find it. That's what I mean by disabling it.

They look like they are in really nice condition, good tyres too.

Ive spent a fortune this month on new windows/doors for house, getting wood flooring, but I really want these

I need to start thinking, quickly
