Just moved to West LA from Boston!

Hi guys,

Just wanted to introduce myself to this regional forum. I own a AW/CR 2012 335is and recently moved from Boston to West LA (Brentwood area). Looking forward to attending some local meets. Would also like to get some recommendations for:

- 3M Crystalline Tint Installer
- High quality hand car wash

where in brentwood? I used to live in the glen but am still very close

For a carwash try overland car wash in culver city. I use them all the time and they have great deals/coupons on their website.

Welcome! I'm over near Westwood myself.

For tint people usually recommend California tint or STM

If you want 3M, PM me and I got a good guy that's been working on the tints for one of our company's residential properties for years. He can give you a good deal and will come to your place to do it. Just switched from my scratched-up Suntek to 3M last weekend and he did an excellent job in two hours flat.

Now if you wanna spend a bit more money and go Huper Optik, go to STM in LA.

Oh and if you want a free roll of moleskin tint protectors, let me know. Can't use it anymore since the felt previous applied to my weather strip can't be removed.

Thanks guys. I'm in Brentwood off Wilshire. I've only been here a week, but there is definitely a cultural adjustment I am still working on.

Welcome, Im on Wilshire as well. Great area but ya takes some time to get used to.

Car wash around here: good luck!

If you find one LMK.... I usually go to Melrose Auto Strip hand wash which is good for the price.

I had them clean both me and my wife's car and they did a superb job cleaning (my wife was amazed at how clean the car was when it came back). Danny is a nice guy and he makes sure you're satisfied with the cleaning. I think they even give a free loaner if it's a full detail, you can ask about it.

Me too. Yes, I got my car tinted with 3M Crystalline at Sunshield in Sherman Oaks. Hamid, the owner was a very nice guy.
