4x4 Error after Lowering Spring & Shock Install (Update with codes)

Hey all, I just finished installing my bilstein B8 xi struts along with the eibach pro kit springs. I took it out for a quick test drive and it drives awesome.. besides the fact I got a 4x4 error after a few minutes.

Any ideas what could cause it? I did have some trouble with (I believe) the front left drive shaft popping out while getting the strut in but I think I got it all sorted out and everything seemed fine. The front right was a breeze and the rears were very easy and only took about 30 min per side. Anyways, the car sounds normal, no abnormal drivetrain noise but it's quite out of alignment, the steering wheel is about 25 degrees off center and this is the only thing that I could think is causing this to happen. Could this cause the 4x4 light to come on? I hope it's just out of alignment..

Anyways, here's a pic of it now

Side note: the ABS light is not on, only the 4x4 light.

I had a chance to pull the codes with my carly app. Nothing too serious just the front right steering sensor I believe. Could it possibly be because my alignment is so far out of alignment?

Any codes? There is a ride height sensor front and rear, I thought those were only for headlight leveling, but they may play a role in the DSC/traction control system. People break them off all the time not realizing they are there. Maybe you did not get the axle seated all the way? Don't know how that throws a 4x4 light though. If it were wheel speed sensors that's probably ABS system.

Doesn't sound like an axle problem, I updated the OP with the codes.

Clear codes drive it see if it comes back. If it does then reset/recailbrate the Steering Angle Sensor. You can do it with INPA and I think BT scan tool. Lot of people get SAS code and 4x4 light after suspension install. Quite a few threads on it across various boards. I've read you can just disconnect the battery for 15 minutes, start the car then turn the wheel lock to lock and it will recalibrate itself, but I've never done that personally.

Is the steering wheel way off center? If it is this is likely the problem. Either way, get it aligned before you try recalibrate otherwise it will just throw another code and do the same thing.

Okay, I'll clear them and see if it comes back. And yes, the steering wheel is about 35 degrees off center when going straight so I've got a pretty good hunch this is my issue.

35 degrees? yeah that might be a problem. Do you have active steering? I'm asking because I don't know how it would get that far off if everything was buttoned up right with regular steering. Is it pulling hard to one side? Anyway keep us posted, hope you get it worked out soon.

Yes, 35 degrees and I don't have active steering

I scheduled an alignment for thursday so by then everything should be back to normal. I also cleared the code and drove for 15 min or so and the code didn't come back. But the car drives fairly straight actually... as long as you hold the wheel 35 degress off center
