Tires for 18" square set up

After doing a lot of research, I decided to go with a square set up at 18" on a 2010 335 xi M Sport. (Minnesota/Illinois pot holes are a big problem) I found the rims I like in a 35 offset both front and back. I am wanting to know what is the max amount of rubber I can install with out any mods. I have read anywhere from 255 X 40 (or 35) X18 squared to a 235 size. I plan to purchase the Michelin Super Sports for the tire. Thanks for your input.

I have 255/35-18 on 18x8.5 up front. Net et is a 33 with a 5mm spacer due to coilivers.
No rubbing issues ever.

What's your camber up front though? I have (and do) run 255s (Hoosiers even) but I have 2.7* of neg. camber. I would think one would rub or even bump the fender without negative camber.
