Cool Carbon vs Fedoro DS2500

Does anyone have any experience with both of these at the track? Is there a BIG difference? I have CC all around right now. I will be upgrading to Racing Brake front rotors and deciding whether I need DS2500 for the rear. It's going on the front.

Thanks!

I'm not sure I understand what you're planning for the front, but RacingBrake recommends strongly against using either of those pads with their rotors for track. You must use real race pads. http://www.racingbrake.com/v/main/pa...?full=yes#full

Otherwise, DS2500 is better for track and Cool Carbon is better for street. DS2500 doesn't have the problem CC has of leaving deposits at high temps that cause vibrations. On street, CC is quieter and leaves less dust.

Thanks Gary. Is it OK to have a street setup on the rear? Meaning stock rotors with CC pads?

I've tracked with CC pads all round with stock rotors, and it's okay except for occasional vibration that would go away if I just did another bed-in.

I don't know about mixing race pads in front with CC in back. People do that kind of thing all the time. I tried it once with Hawk DTC30 pads and RB rotors in front and CC pads and stock rotors in back, but I had other problems going on that day, so I couldn't be sure how well it worked.
