It depends on which maps you are running. If you are using the aggressive maps, try out Stage 2 maps and run it on map 1. Map 2 value by default should be the same as Map 1 IIRC. The values can be changed for Map 2 mainly for those running race fuel or meth. Do a datalog and see how your car looks on Stage 2. If everything is good, keep it, if not drop down to Stage 1.

Still don't get it:

So you can run map 2 (of any stage 0 to 3 agressive v5 maps 4-23), if you do not run on meth???

Contradicting quote from the README: "-There is absolutely not reason to EVER run MAP 2 as it does not have an active methanol failsafe."

Please help !!??!!

Never run map 2.

Map 0 stock.
Map 1 tune.
Map 2 only race/meth. Do not run this.
Map 3 NA mode. Kinda lame. We all wanted but it seems it doesn't offer real mpg savings IMO. Probably should be eliminated.
Map 4 if running meth, use this as it will bounce between maps 1&2.

End result, run map 1 unless you have meth.

Thanks for clarifying! This is what I understood from the README.

But hey, just thinking if there is another interpretation: Yes, you run map1 only, but can you/ Should you change map 2 values, which may have a positive effect on map 1? Maybe I am speculating a bit ...

Cheers

I'll be in the Frankfurt area June 7th to the 14th. If you live near to Frankfurt I can help you with your Procede as long as you buy the beer.

Map 2 is the same as map 1 and can be set more aggressive, but will not have a positive effect on map 1. If you're running Methanol, you should set map 2 settings, but never use it because it doesn't offer any fail safe. You should then only run map 4 with Methanol. Map 3 just forces the waste gates open so they don't close. Nice option if you don't want all the waste gate noise when you start your car.

I think you'll find it's easier to set your car up on Map 1 and do some data logs to find out how the car is running. Make small changes and then do some test runs and let your car adapt to the changes. If you start having issues with trim or timing drops, back off the settings until your car is happy again. If you need someone to look at your logs, shot a copy to Shiv and he can look at them and let you know if you need to change anything.

Good luck and enjoy!
