Lux Angel Eyes installed!

I recently installed LUX Angel Eyes V5.2 angel eyes on my pre-LCI E90 and I am extremely happy with the results.

Lux Angel Eyes are hands down the best LED angel eyes (AE) out on the market. I wanted to my AE to be visible in direct sunlight. I wanted something that was closest to the OEM AE without doing a full conversion on my headlights.

The closest OEM AE on the market would be OSS Designs. You will need to remove you headlights and ship it directly to OSS Designs so they can install LED Bulbs for you. This would of been a lot of work and costly too ($800+)

My AE LED experience...

I've tried three different sets of LED AE that includes:

1) A local business in Vancouver called D-Element
-http://www.deautorestyling.com
- Cost: $360 CAD for two LED Bulb with install
- "HIGH POWER LED ANGEL EYES BULBS"
- They used a cheap looking plastic 10W LED bulbs made in Taiwan or China
- Unable to see the AE in during the day when it's sunny out
- Looks amazing at night
- My passenger AE bulb burnt out in 13 months. D-Element wanted another $360 to replace my burnt AE bulb.

I've been driving my BMW with only one side of the AE on for a week and it was embarrassing. So I quickly rushed and ordered:

2) WeissLicht Ultra White LED Version 2 Angel eyes from a Bimmian.com
-http://www.bimmian.com
- Cost $180 CAD includes shipping
-WeissLicht 6W LED Bulbs but the casting is aluminum and appears to be higher quality
- Claims to be the brightest LED Bulbs on the market.
- Unable to see the AE during the day time
- Looks amazing at night

Still not satisfy with these cheap looking LED AE. Instead of rushing into buying another set of AE, I wanted to spend more time researching thoroughly for the best LED Angel Eyes on the market. It was challenging because all the different brands claimed to be the brightest on the market. I've read amazing threads, reviews, etc about LUX AE and decided to try them.

3) LUX E90 V5.2 Angel Eyes
-http://luxangeleyes.com/
- Cost $185 USD Shipped
- Visible in direct sunlight!
- Uses the latest LED technology

LUX Angel Eyes are definitely the brightest LED AE on the market!

To turn off the sign markers look through the excel document for coding that's floating around. Should be a sidemarker_delete label or something similar. I did it myself last week

The new v4 are sweet, they are only compatible with LCI models. My e90 is a pre LCI model

Yeah I know. I was hoping it would be beta V4's. I really want to see a comparison on brightness between V3's and V4's. Your new lux's look a lot brighter than your OEM lights.

This is what the D-element and the WeissLicht Ultra White LED Version 2 AE looks like in direct sunlight. Essentially, it's invisible!!

So I decided to go cheap. I'm not too obsessive but I wanted an upgrade over the yellow stock garbage.

I'm happy although the outdoor pic is in partial shade.
