Moto Q can't answer Incoming Calls since software Update

I recently updated the software on my Motorola Q and now I can't make it accept incoming calls when it is connected to my car. I have the Nav with iDrive and it worked fine before I updated my Motorola Q software.

When a call comes in and I choose ACCEPT or press the PHONE BUTTON, the call just sits there. I can't hear anything and they can't hear me. When I call out using the iDrive or Steering wheel button everything works perfectly.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there a solution?

I also have the Moto Q. I should get my 335 coupe in 1-2 weeks and I was concerned about the phone not properly working in the car. Would you recommend not making any upgrades to the phone. And if so, why did you try to update the software.

I just hope that I wouldn't have the same problem that you are faced with. I will be visiting the dealership within the next few days and I will ask them if there is any possible fix for it. I will let you know when I do.

It would seem as if the newest version of the device is simply not compatible with the car. This serves as a good illustration as to where the problems lie, since in this case the updated sw clearly mucked up the works.

Perhaps you can downgrade. That is one solution.

BMW specifically says they support sw version 01.07.05-08P - and no other.
