328/335 sport package
Hey guys,
I was wondering if a RWD with sport package sits differently and has a different stance then AWD with sport package. Because I've seen many RWD with sport package and the car seems to have a wider stance, its more planted, and looks much more aggressive.Or is it because they changed the tires of the car. Also do 328 and 335 sit differently? I'm clearly a noob, I just need a little clarification. I did search but didn't find anything. Thanks in advance. |

The Sports Package on the AWD models does not have the lowered suspension, only the RWD model does when it has the Sports Package. The RWD with Sports Package also have wider rear tires, which gives it a wider and more aggressive stance.

When people buy after market wheels, a lot of the time they invest in spacers which push the wheels out a bit. I too think stock sport wheels look more planted, the whole car seems tighter, but I think that's just the lower profile and wider wheels.

My sport pack came with 225 on the front and 255 on the rear. Sport on Xdrive doe not include this or any suspension ..its about 1" higher.

the sport package really helps. I am driving a 2012 E93 328 loaner with no sports and it sucks.

My sport package E90 sits at a decent height and I definitely liked the feel to it. Also, I'm loving the staggered look to it even though it's a slight 8/8.5 but keep in mind that if you were to pick up lowering parts for your AWD, chances are that it will not be compatible with a RWD suspension. Also, there's debates as to whether an AWD should run staggered due to the possibility of messing up their drivetrain.
