Anyone with custom plates?

My mom wants to change her license plate numbers. I know we have to go through the DMV, but just wondering if anyone here with custom plates can lemme know how much it costs and processing this stuff. thanks

Thanks bro, I read up on some of that stuff already. So if my mom just got some random plate#s for her new car, and now we order a special interest license plate, all we need to do is pay the fees and all the registration stuff etc will automatically be changed?

thanks guys, I will order it tomm. It says you gotta go to the DMV to pick this up when it's ready in a few weeks. They can't just mail it like the original plate?

u have to give them a reason to why u want this... n you can also be denied i got denied n waiting on my 2nd request rite now

dam really? so even if the website approves you have to wait for a person to go through each one and approve? i been waiting 4 weeks so far for mines to arrive, i told them "Da Fak" is my chinese name LOL

they deny it if the letters / numbers look confusing for other drivers
