Since 3 months I have a check lamp ON for AIRBAG and SEATBELT on my E90. After I Dynamat-ed my doors I saw that the 2 front crash (DOORS) sensors as well as the two under the headlights were misteriously UNPLUGGED. Of course I plugged them and DING DING---AIRBAG! I tried to clear the fault but not result-- comes again.
Last week I was hunting for vibrations and squeaks and suddenly! The brownwhite wire is MISTERIOUSLY unplugged?!(Attached Photos) Can you help me reading the meaning of this wire and if I plug it in again what could happen? I bought my car second hand, there is no more warranty and I don't want to go to the dealer because it will cost me a fortune and probably they will tell me to change the car! Please take a look and if you have some suggestions, for example WDS BMW which I can't read, let me know. THANK YOU ***This is the AIRBAG Module which is placed under the Armrest/Center console - just below the rear vents*** Last edited by Futie; 12-02-2009 at 10:04 AM.. Reason: additional information |

If you can find a diagram for the wiring, I could read it for you. I just can't seem to find the wiring diagram.

I have just read the diagram but I am not 100% sure if my AIRBAG Module is MRS(Multiple Restraint System). But on the picture with the module we can clearly see "MRSZ5" which tells me I have MRS.
Could you help me with this or I should visit the dealer for a quick question Thanks |
