Have you tried just a thin microfiber cloth and your fingernail?

I don't know how to help you on that but I think alcohol is pretty abrasive. I don't recommend using it.

Stop using all kind of foolish polish, use Swissol and you never get this kind of problems! I do and will never use any other polish, trust me!

My clearbra installer told me that a SOFT bristle toothbrush with light strokes would do the trick.
Follow up with a MF towel along the line and you should be good to go.

He just waxed the car. Why would you want to clay bar and remove the wax?

+1 on a SOFT bristle toothbrush.

Why would anyone use alcohol or claybar? Only going to remove all the wax, which defeats the purpose of waxing the car in the first place.

You can also try a tooth pick very carefully! They do make a clearbra cleaner.

Also if you use a claybar, more than likely you'll get clay at the seam as well.

Good lord.

1) Alcohol is not "abrasive", nor is it harmful to the paint. You could let rubbing alcohol dry on your paint and it'd be fine. 50/50 isopropyl alcohol and water is a commonly used solution by detailer to remove polish residue.

2) To remove the wax from the seam use a little quick detailer and the edge of a microfiber cloth. If you don't have a microfiber use a boars hair brush or soft bristle toothbrush. If neither of those work you're doing it wrong.

3) Next time use a wax/sealant that doesn't leave a white residue.

Sometimes i think Picus just sits back and lets the thread get bigger before he comments. Always good detailing info from you!!! I love Klasse and it doesnt leave any white residue!!!!
