Passenger wing mirror dip for parking?
Hi guys,
I seem to remember that when in reverse my old E92 would dip the left wing mirror which was quite a nice feature I reckon, yet my current E90 doesn't do it (yet has the parking sensors, electric mirrors etc)... Don't tell me something as simple as that was a optional extra? or is mine broken? edit: I read somewhere about the position of the selector switch mattering... tried it set to both left and right and no result... |

Do you mean they have electric adjust or electric folding?

try moving your e mirror control to the right (so its in the driver side mirror adjust) then put it into reverse. my e93 passenger side mirror only dips when set to the driver side position.

Yes, only dips with selector to drivers side, I leave mine disabled normally.
You only need dipping when parallel parking up to a curb to see your tyre clearance. Regular parking or reversing is better with no dipping imo. |

The guys are right. You must have all electric seats or powerfold mirrors or both for the mirror to dip. It's always been that way.

Righto, never mind then... Shame they left off something like that, I'm pretty sure I would have all the necessary bits and bobs for it to work - if they were going to tag it on as an extra with another feature, you would have thought the parking sensors would be the one not electric seats?

My E92 has this, however as mentioned the mirror switch needs to be pushed to the right for the feature to work
