I would say get the tune before the downpipe. I have the BMS downpipe and love it. No problems.

What are your oil temps after a session?
I would do the intercooler first. Last year I had no limp mode issues at the track with my N55 335i, even completely stock engine-wise.

I want o do these 3 mods at the same time... The only one I'm not sure about it's the downpipes.. Lets see if anyone can confirm if it will help with the temps.. |

1. Intercooler
2. Bigger oil cooler 3. Limited Slip Diff Worry about adding boost once the car doesn't go into limp mode after 15 minutes and it can actually put the stock power down out of corners. |

I don't think downpipes will do much for temperatures. The exhaust gasses are after the fact.
The intercooler is a very sensible upgrade.

A limited slip utterly transforms this car. 10000 times more effective than any engine tune to a keen driver. That said, 80% of this board has a tune and 0.5% have a LSD.

I've been on the track 2x15minute sessions with Wagner Intercooler , Cobb aggressive Tune, no problems...Would love Quaife LSD but quoted $3750 here in Australia!!! On the third and 4th runs I got two boost issue codes while traveling 200kph in 4th-5th.... On the straight!

I had a double stint on Sunday 35 minutes on track going at 100% temps only reached 130
10w 40 oil and fmic are my only 'cooling' mods. I do however remember needing to run cool down laps with stock oil and no fmic. I would start with the oil
