I wasn't able to get mine on/off without taking the door card off. After taking mine off (possibly the long way?) I'd think pulling it would fuck shit up lol. Seems wedged in pretty well to me without taking the door card off.

Obviously if it's been done though it's possible!

If you are careful you can pull the tweeter housing off. It requires a bit of patience to get back on though. Just tried it for you Awbimmer:



Mine was acually 5 wire

That's good to know! I'm going to need to have mine off again to sort them out whatever I end up doing so I'll try it this way. Will def save some time, as long as I can get them back in ok! Lol.

Pretty much, but that is only to get to the wiring. Unfortunately if you want to swap the whole mirror over you need to take off the whole doorcard as the last bolt is underneath it.
