TGS Exclusive - UUC XI Sway Bars NOW Available - More Info Inside!

So I talked to UUC's production engineer last week to find out what is taking so long...

For those who don't know we've been waiting since May for these to come back in stock...

To which he responded, it's not really a "Big mover" so we haven't focused on putting them in production compared to other things.

I said, DUDE?! I've had dozens of people easy that wanted to buy this thing and canceled orders cause it was on back order since May.

He's like Really???

So, what I need from you guys is to show interest here so I can send this up to them and get the ball rolling.

Please vote in the poll.

UPDATE: We expect to have an update Nov 7-10th on the actual ETA of when these should be done.

UPDATE: 12/6 - Pipes are in bending. We will be announcing when we will start taking pre orders here. Hopefully in the next couple weeks.

Update: 12/26- Estimated shipping date, 2nd week of January.

UPDATE: 1/6 - We will be taking payments starting next week (Don't order on the site). I will host links here. The actual shipping date will be firmed up the week of Jan 9th.

Update: 1/11 - NOW TAKING PAYMENTS: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...9&postcount=91

We have moved the estimated shipping date to Feb 15. This will accommodate for any delays with the powerder-coater as it's done by a 3rd party. I anticipate these shipping before that date but only time will tell. Those who pre-order are guaranteed sway bars. If you wait till they are in stock you may miss out as there are limited quantities. First come, first serve.

UUC recommends the purchase of the Front End Links with the Front Sway Bar.

I've set up purchasing links for Front and Rear Sway Bars with the End link.
You can order just the Front Sway Bar or the Rear Sway Bar.
(Please do not use our website).

The payment links below are for US 48 states only.

Haha this is ridiculous. This confirms that the guy who answers the phone there's line about "we don't have bushings, they'll be here soon" was total BS!

I was one of the people who ordered and then canceled because they wouldn't give me any kind of real answer about the availability. You should tell this engineer that their phone guy was giving customers the runaround with that excuse about the bushings.

Instead I went with poly bushings on the stock xi front bar, E93 M3 rear bar with M3 bushings, and adjustable links front and rear. I'm happy with the balance of my car with this setup so probably wouldn't go for the UUC bars since I don't want to mess with the hassle of re-doing the rear one.

But yeah, I am one of the canceled orders.

I know, I'm trying to stick with the solution now.

I did reiterate all those details about the miscommunication and erroneous ETA/Information etc with phone reps. I said customers want real answers with real ETA's.

We all know how long it really takes to make these. 2 weeks AT MOST.

Bushings were actually a true part of the equation, ironically.

I am interested in a set.

I would also put a deposit down if a deposit means a discounted price.

After my personal experience with them I wouldn't believe anything they said - I'll offer 0.25 cents for a set

But I applaud your efforts - good luck, hope you get results

I know exactly what you mean but I'm dealing with the production engineer directly, so if he says it's happening we have his word.

I won't make anything happen here unless I'm 1000%.

There seems to be enough here to get the ball rolling, I'll call them later today.

It is a weird coincidence that a company I order sway bars from, in a different market for my job, is also having issues filling orders. Like 10+ months to get an order to get 100 sway bars delivered. Excuse after excuse. That is when I can get someone to actually answer the phone. Sway bar manufacturers must not like their jobs. haha

OK, so I went in and told them we have 8 guys just in a day or so ready to buy. They said that is more then enough to see there is interest in the product still.

So here is the scoop.

We all have SEMA next week, so nothing is going to happen till they get back.

He said, when he gets back from SEMA, he will run the numbers on production and give me the exact date it would ship.

Not an estimated date, not a date that they hope, the exact date it will leave their facility to your doors.

Once I get that info, I'll follow up here with you guys and for those guys who are serious, we can get your orders in and get the ball rolling.

I'm just as anxious as everyone else here as I'm waiting for them on my personal car too!

For anyone else on the fence, who has dealt with UUC before and have lost hope, give me one chance to fix this and get these parts and join in. There batch will be a run of about 25, that is of course unless I have more then 25 guys interested, then they'll do more.

So get on board and please use the poll if interested as that is what we are using as a focus on how many we plan to sell.

Good luck. I was lucky and found a set that another vendor had in stock from way back when. Still UUC is a small operation, so I'd be shocked that the production engineer and customer service guy don't talk. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they're the same dude.

I can assure you they are different. I'm well aware of who is on the team there.

Ive spoken to the owner as well as the production engineer about this.

It's not that they don't talk, they do, one has their own way of conducting business and the other is straight forward and honest, I'm working with the latter.
