JB4 gauge problems!

Hi all, purchased my first BMW a few months ago and absolutely love it. Recently threw the JB4 on top of the Dinan Stage 2 that was already on the car and just ran into a weird issue.

Everything was fine with the JB4 and i never had a single gauge-related issue, but now every time i start the car the tachometer is out of whack; it will basically sit at 0rpm with the car idling and scale directly from that (so basically everything is ~800rpm below normal). When I use the steering wheel controls (1,5) to reset the gauges everything works fine until i restart the car, then I have to repeat the process over again. Not a super big deal, but it's pretty annoying to have to reset my gauge cluster every time I want to drive anywhere.

Also, when i go into command mode the gauges are off and move at weird intervals (about 1.5k rpm per selection instead of 1k)

I've read another post where someone had a very similar problem, but they were able to reset the gauges using the same method i used and appeared to not have any other issues.

car is an 09 335i with 90k. dci, dinan stage 2, jb4, no other mods.

Any help is appreciated.

After you reset the gauges you have to set it for your car model, I don't know if that is the issue but worth a try. Do 1,5 to reset cluster and 5,2 for your model car.

Thanks for the response! I'll try this next time I go somewhere and let you know if it worked.
