Aluminum Pedals question

Hey everyone;
I'm about to take delivery of my e92! So excited!!! I'm thinking about getting the aluminum pedals but I'm concerned about slipping off of them. Does anyone have experience with them? I live in So Cal so we don't get a lot of rain but I do track it and I'd hate to slip off the pedals at the wrong moment.
Thanks for your thoughts!

the rubber inserts prevent slipping. I have OEM and no slipping issues.

Yup.

Bought some good cobalt bits to get through the steel too..

Consider the drill an investment, not just for this job. You'll use it all the time over the coarse of your lifetime..

Having a drill is nice. Whenever you have to put something together, take apart a door knob, do anything, you don't have to do it by hand..

Door knobs especially, the screws are usually 2+ inches long..

I even got a round dremel brush to brush my teeth with too, it's great..

Ultimate Pedals

I took a little different direction and put on pedals from "Ultimate". They are very nicely made and you have the option of using the urethane buttons or just having the drilled holes. Perfect fit and outstanding quality. Lots of options for finish as well.

I got the OEM ones.....no slippery when wet.

Dead and Gas pedals were easy to install......

The Brake was a little bit harder....but if you have a good BIT....no problem.

Ultimate Pedals Ebay Store

Here is the URL where I purchased my pedals in the post above. They also have a website that you need to visit. Lots of options as to finish with or without urethane buttons. They are engineered perfectly to fit and the attachment hardware is first rate. Price on Ebay store is substantial savings over regular website. Remember you need a good punch and sharp drillbit for the brake pedal! Everything else is piece of cake. I did it all in less than an hour.
