Placing megafone

Anyone have idea where it can be fitted?

Size ~140x215x170
Should be directed to front (so, one way is underhood...)
But will it fit or not...

Eh.. looking at this photo i hope it can be placed in lower-center... but it will hide a little of lower-grille... no?

Lol, but no %) But it can do much more to get you green-way on road, and with some strobes it will so cool :-D Ah, yes, it could play everyhing, including cucaracha just putting microphone close to car speaker

Eh.. I catch today a time to official bmw garage on 28 sept, so, if I will have time to stay with mechanic i'll do some photos of placing it.

Don't worry, I think my word 'matter' is not best word to say what i wish to say, but i think you understand me. Yes, of course it is external speaker... As you can see on photos with cone it CAN'T be fitted normaly at upper side of motor... maybe below motor it CAN be fixed, will see it then up car with lift and remove carther protect... if not - only one place I see in my car is right-corner side, speaker fit's there but without cone...
So... waiting 28 sept very much... can't wait more

Remove the airbox, put it under there. There is some space there that should fit it.

Sorry, but of what airbox exactly you telling? Where i should see it (right-up, left-down, etc? Or better if you have time paint some sign on my photos).. Anyway, thanks for suggest, maybe i will find a place you telling myself

to have fun & security on road, this one hear much better then basic horn... Spain now starts to have so much idiots on road (mostly people in years who in marasmus yet, but driving...)... Mostly to prevent accidents... but for fun too.

the airbox is the big black box front left that containd the air fliter.

Soooo... After days, after visit BMW service center and after they tell me a price to put this one (something about $1.5k), i decide to put it myself. Pay $150 - OK, but not $1500... :X

I tried to remove bumper - no space to place it (how difficult to do it with headlight wash.... :X)

I tried to remove grille - fit, but no metal support there.

I think about right-side of car (there a airbox on "i" BMW's are) - but again no metal support there.

So, I put off a cone on this megafone and tried again to find a place to it, and got it! At left side of motor-space, in metal support of brake liquid (did not sure what is it) it fits millimeter to millimeter!

I drill 2x6mm holes and fix mounting bracket on it. When put a speaker head, then a resonator. So, a distance between this box of brake liquid and speaker resonator something about 1mm

Then I use a standard stereo cable to do wiring from speaker to trunk where placed a amplifier for this `alarm`. Cable pass over passanger door into the interior of car.

At final i tried to horn one time only to check it (night...), works...
Some days more I will put link to some video...
