winter rims and tires on my car - check it out
I went with the Dunlop M3 17" RFT and m3 replica rims. The tires are amazing, I think they run a little smoother than the regular tires. Not as good around corners but still excellent. It's 16 degrees C and I've got snows on already - go figure! 0h well at least I'm ready. Total package cost including tax and installation was $2100.00CDN

Check our TIREMAG on Keele at hwy #7, they have a really nice wheel that looks like it came off the last version of the 330 and its cheaper.

How much cheaper. Right now, options are Tiretrends in BC M5 Replicas w/ rft snows for $2000 Cdn, the above M3 w/rft snows for $2100 and the unknown tiremag kinda like the 162s.
Any idea of price ? |

I am considering these replicas .. I understand that the e46 wheels will work on the e90 .. these are replicas for the older bmw, offset is only 4mm apart which I am told is nothing.

Pulled the trigger on the M3s. Looking to put them on early to mid December. Lets hope there is no snow until then !
Thanks for all the help on the board. |

Very nice indeed.
I got the m5 replicas with the same sized Dunlops. I love the look of mine as well, but yours look like they are better integrated at the rear (mine have a slight indentation - I don't mind it but yours look better). I also read mine have a greater likelyhood of chipping - Oh well, with the $100 I saved I am going to buy aluminium touch up like they have at the dealer for when one scrapes mags on curbs (not that THAT ever happend to me.....oh no ) |

I bought the M3s because the shop was local to Toronto. I do like the M5s, but because they would come from BC, it just made sense (at least to me) to get something local.
As far as propensity to ship...I'm not sure I buy that. Bottom line, both options look good ! |

I have seen both (side by side). I felt the M3 replica's looked better than the M5 replica's on the 330. However, to be honest (as I said in another post), I haven't seen anything that looks "just right" as the 158 OEM's new for '06. If I don't bite for them I will go for these M3's.
