i was just surfing on internet and found this page
i agreed with the answer but suddenly shocked by him saying existence of 3 series dilutes BMW's prestige  what??? i thought the 3 series are the heart of bmw? like if you think of MB you automatically think of big S class and if you think of BMW you automatically think of small (respectively) sporty sedan or coupe 3 series not 7 series anyone agree/ disagree with my thought? |

What differentiates between the 3 and 5 series besides size and some standard features? (let's say you're comparing an 08 328i to an 08 528i). Are 5 series built to a higher standard or something?
