How do you tell if your car has been fitted with Bluetooth?
Hi all,
Please can you help? I bought the missus a 2007 335D coupe and I am unsure as to whether or not it is Bluetooth enabled. I asked the garrage we bought it from and they are not sure. The stereo has the button for the phone and the steering wheel controls have the button to answer but I cannot find out anything else. Is there an easy way to find out? Cheers Mike |

Better still give them the last 7 digits of the chassis number, that's all they'll be trying to find from the reg number - often unsuccesfuly as reg numbers are only stored within dealership chains, not at all dealers.
Private plates screw that up too. Last edited by doughboy; 03-08-2010 at 05:53 AM.. |

If you don't have NAV but you do have a shark fin aerial, then you have bluetooth.
Try and pair your phone to the car. If you don't have a manual for how to do it, either it's missing or you don't have bluetooth. If you don't have a shark fin aerial at all, you don't have bluetooth. |

Thanks folks,
It appears that I don't have the Bluetooth option. I certainly didn't see it as listed as one of the features of the car when I bought it however the buttons on the steering wheel and the stereo had me second guessing. Anyway, at least I have learned what the fin thing on some BMW's is for....lol Regards Mike |
