Car Shaking After 80mph, thoughts?

My car is shaking when i reach about 80mph+. My assumption is that it could be something as simple as balancing my tires and i'm going to try this as my first attempt. However, in the case that this does not resolve the problem, have any of you experienced anything similar?

Car: 2011 e90 328i, 37k miles, dropped on H&R race springs using oem style 162s

in my old car i had the same problem. Balanced the wheel and didnt solve anything. It ended being a bent rim and damage tie rods.

Could also be a warped tire

also check for play in the suspension. Jack the front up and shake the wheel side to side and if their is a lot of play it could be a wheel hub----make sure the lugs are on tight too!!!!!!

Do a road force balance. That should tell you if you're rim is bent or not

I recently have been experiencing this as well. Makes my passenger seat vibrate. Specifically after installing spacers in the front. I am going to get my wheels balanced next week followed by an alignment being that the car was also recently lowered. Hope these things fixes the issues.

Did you replace with matching rims front and rear? Did the problem exist before switching wheels? My guess would be warped rims or tie rod.

Got to the bottom of it, i had one of my spacers cracked and apparently a lug bolt was also lose which may have been caused by the spacer. To add to is, the tires weren't too good either. Ended up spending $500 on a new pair of Ventus V12s and removed the spacers.

ALL GOOD NOW!! smooth like a baby's ass! Thanks for the input guys!

didn't get a pic, but the spacer was cracked right through the middle of one of the lug bolts. the guys said couple of things may have happened. since my tires were pretty worn out, the car could have started shaking because of the tires and the triggered the "cheap" spacers to crack which may have caused the lug bolt to get lose. sounds like a valid theory to me, either way I decided i didn't want to risk my life on the road for some extra millimeters.
