BMW Customer Relations has told me Reprogramming DDE due to zero fault adaptation is not covered by Gold Extended Warranty.

I was under impression i'm getting these issues because its a fuel injector issue and that it IS covered under Gold Extended Warranty.

What systems are covered in the warranty fine print? My SAs were always very good about finding ways for the repairs to be covered. The failures you're seeing can be called fuel system, exhaust system, maybe other systems if your SA is creative enough.

The foreman has taken over my case. We will see what evolves.

Got a F30 328i loaner.

I hated my 328 I loaner... Handling is soft and loose and it was gutless with no power... I was sad

Sums up my current experience. My wife said that it does not feel like a BMW but more like a Passat or Nissan.

There are people out there with high mileage and no issues.
I already had all my scr components replaced last year and still same issue with codes p2063, p2063 and p20ee. Any other suggestions?

Under warranty? I dont have the codes handy, but if theyre injector related, advise dealer to check the DDE. Otherwise, just bring her in & see what they say.

Out of warranty, we can start taking a stroll down the remote diagnosis train tracks.

They said they cleaned it but I purchased a new one.

Is there a DIY on the metering valve install?

Car at dealership 3 weeks now. For SES light. I will scan invoice. Apparently 7k worth of work thus far covered under warranty. Some outside tech had to come. Hopefully ill get it this week. F30 328i base loaner is terrible.

Hi, are you initiating a "lemon law" buyback? I am in the process of doing this and need some guidance.

Car has 13k worth of work per dealer already. Now needs a new motor. Have not had my vehicle 3 weeks. Warranty has been good to me. But overall, no confidence in the mechanical aspect of the vehicle at this point.

Does a lawyer contact BMWNA?

I am in the process of getting all documentation to BMW legal on all problems with the D. With my warranty just expiring these cars should not have these basic issues like they do. They are not isolated events either we have several on here with similar issues.

Yes - I have the address if you want it but all info has to be mailed to them.

Thank you,

Customer Service has been excellent. Loaner vehicles. Drop off and pick up. Frequent contact from SA. It's just the actual car with issues. Mine is running great with new engine and dde.
