Was just wondering about this...
Since this is a new exhaust, why does it have the previous version's resonated tips? I though all the current AE exhausts now come with single walled non-resonated tips.

In any case... BUMP for one of the best exhausts on the market! I miss my old AE quads alot!

To answer that question, basically this was bought before they converted to the new style tips and has been sitting in a box ever since and never installed.

Thanks for the bump, i am getting a little impatient so i just might throw this on once my DP arrive but i wanted to sell in order to get some new wheels but at this point i'm getting antsy! Why did you sell yours?

I don't blame you. The quad version of this exhaust is more aggressive than the dual and is just perfect IMO. Not too loud, but screams at WOT, especially after it's properly broken in. Catless AE and catless DPs were a perfect combination.

I sold mine because I needed the money at the time and I felt I could do without the 10 something hp a catback provides. If/when I ever shop for an exhaust again I wouldn't have any reservations about buying another AE exhaust... it would have to be quad though
