newbie, need some turbo help on a e92 328i

hey guys i just bought my first bmw, a 328i coupe...and i didnt have the budget for a 335 so please dont ask lol. ive been wanting to turbo my car though, is getting one from the factory a possibilty? salvaging a wrecked 335s? is the turbo the ONLY different in the 2 models? surely there has to be something else in the engine thats changed? any advice would be good.

It will cost u alot to turbo a 328.

It would be more cost effective to sell ur car, and get a used 335

It's just not worth the time and money. You could probably buy an m3 with the money it takes to make that happen.

As far I'm aware, the magnesium block in the 328i is too fragile to handle the sort of power boost that would result from a turbo. I wouldn't suggest suggest trying it.
