Went very slow and careful, lots of patience.

-Amp lights up, and shuts off after a few seconds as usual (so i guess power instal = ok!)
-gong is not too loud or anything
-(locked my trunk with the battery off, that was fun)

ISSUES:

1. no sound coming from the front speakers
2. fade 100% front, all i hear is muffled sound from the 6.5" under seats
3. balance L&R - R seems stronger..maybe cause of the headrest. lets re visit that when the fronts work again.

* jumped the connectors 1&2 and 3&4 on both sides, as per stereo.pdf
* separate lines to the under seats. connected/soldered to the OEM + and - points on the speakers.

Really im stumped, this is no brainer work for the most part. specially with technics harness.

RCA's
ch 1 front left
ch 2 front right

ch3 rear left
ch4 rear right

amp to input mode 4

5&6 connected direct to subs (as per the xd 600 L and R)
-which makes sense

so what did i miss here?

all in all pretty happy, first ever instal of an amp/harness.
(lots of electrical experience in motorcycling though)

Please help! thank you
I would assume that you coded this unit for HiFi, correct?

The front OEM HU outputs somehow are not getting into your XD600/6 front inputs. Check the extension cable and the RCA connections. Each wire has its speaker assignment printed on the wire itself.

NOT coded yet, but problem solved.

and finally and i mean finally, local coder vs dealer
dealer wants 3-4 hours labout, claims its a full re-code of evertying (i smell bs)
loca coder wants $100 and 20-30 mins...
im guessing a local coder is probably best?

thank you
