Question Coilover Install Question: Remove my Subwoofer?

I have a custom box built as seen below, and I just bought some c/o's. I've looked for a good DIY but there just isn't one on here. In looking at springs/strut installs, it looks like the carpet has to be pulled back on the driver's side...and that's where my sub is.

If so, I am going to have to take it to the audio shop prior to getting the coilovers installed. Does anyone know for sure if this is a requirement for installation?

The trunk carpeting must be pulled to remove the rear struts, yes.

You may want to keep it in the trunk when adjusting height; that JL is pretty heavy.

Ah, GREAT point. I also plan to corner balance.

Thanks for that pointer!

Garage List
If you have fold down back seats the shop can probably get away with doing it through there. I didn't pull the whole carpet back on mine, and accessed mine from the back seat area with no issues.
