Alpina badges........thoughts?

I recently saw how awesome the alpina badges look on the steering wheel and the seats. For cosmetic purposes only I was thinking about getting them. My interior is all black with carbon fiber trim and the alpina badges would give a nice contrast.

Please no ricer or fake comments. Im not trying to pose, I just really like the look of the badge and anybody who ever got in my car wouldn't know what alpina is anyway.

Anybody know where to buy them from?

Its more about the nice white design of the badge and not that it says alpina. I dont want people to think I have anything alpina on the car. I just like the badge design. Oh, maybe Ill try a black/white bmw badge.

I know you said no comments about it being rice, but I'll disregard that. It is rice, but it's your car, you can buy those badges on Ebay for cheap.

Im hugely against rice but I honestly just like the alpina logo. I never saw it before getting my bmw and its grown on me. I might just go with a white and black version of the bmw logo instead.

Then ill add a m3 logo on the back and brembo stickers on my brakes!

I wouldn't do it personally, but it's your car.

I have a friend who drives a B7 so out of respect I couldn't do it.

Unless you have at least one thing from Alpina on your car, do not do it. Pointless. I don't care how much you like the looks of it. Does not make any sense at all unless you have Alpina product(s). The badge does not count.

geez fellas....my opinion on the way a badge looks cannot be dumb anymore then my choice of the color on the car. I like the badge and i might use it. I wish that their was another badge in similar design to the alpina without the alpina symbol. I just enjoy crest styled badges and use them on lots of my stuff.

And dont worry, if i didnt want to get flamed for my opinion I would have never posted.

Skip the Alpina badges and find a way to have your own made. I know there are places that will custom make things like this and it would add a uniqueness to your car that NO ONE has.

Ive thought of this and have been trying all day to find a shop to do it. The biggest problem is, is trying to find what to search for. I keep finding custom clothing and banner shops, but none for badge type stuff. But im definitely going custom though.

You could look for ceramic roundels or try CNC roundels. Also, you could do some custom stitchwork on the seats. Maybe "BMW Power" or "BMW Performance" etc.

You could also go the sticker route and simply have die cut stickers made of whatever you want.

I thought about some type of vinyl overlay or sticker for the steering wheel. Or I was going to buy a spare roundel and see if a shop could attach something to it.

I bet a vendor could make a few bucks by selling custom emblems. We could send him our designs and he puts them on the roundels. With all of our personalized modding, a custom logo fits in nicely.
