Alabama Meet at Montgomery Motorsports Park

Hey guys, I will be sending out PMs to as many people as I can find about a meet at MMP within the next month or so. coffee is nice and all, but I want to get some heads up racing action going! Please check here often for updates.

I just checked and they are having TNT at MMP every Friday night in November. So I am open for suggestions. I would ask that we pick a date closer to the first of the month, due to the holidays.

How about the first Friday? Import Faceoff is that Sunday also so it would be good to get dialed in before the event. I plan on going that Friday regardless Nov. 1st.

I'd suggest meeting earlier than later. Around 10pm, the atmosphere at the track tends to deteriorate a bit.

That's a good question. I have seen verts there, but usually with a roll bar. However, they run motorcycles and a vert is certainly safer than that.

So I think we are set on meeting on the first friday in Nov. but we need to set a time to all meet. I haven't been to MMP before so anyone have an idea on when would be a good time?

How about we meet around 8pm? That will give time for out of towners to get here and us local guys can get there earlier and get a few runs in. They open for TNT at 6. Also, MMP is super easy to find and is just one turn off I-65.
