KUDA dash mount iPhone 6 plus wiring

I have a non-iDrive 2012 328i with a KUDA OEM-mount. It's worked fine for my GPS. But I want to mount my iPhone on it instead and connect it to the Y-cable. I'd like to route the wiring (looks like the only way to do that is to use USB and AUX extension cables) through the center speaker and then under the console. This seems like something a lot of people would want to do, but I can't find any thread that does addresses this completely.

Has anyone else tried this?

Im not sure about iPhones cause im an android guy, but we have support for USB DAC so for my nexus on a Kuda mount I have just one usb that has power and sound running out of it going down, under the wood trim and down the dash under the glovebox and through to the center console where i keep the dac to control it send power to both the nexus and the dac and power it up. Sorry of its not clear i can answer any specifics that you wanna know http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1093426
