Dog Ate My AP

And unfortunately broke off one of the pins while doing so. Anybody ever have to replace their hand held flashing unit? My car is currently flashed and I am unable to unmarry the specific hand held flasher from my car. I emailed cobb but the customer service reply said expect a reply in 1-3 days or something like that. Wonder how much they'll charge me and if I can send them my stock tune that the flash originally saved and put it on a new device.

Yeah. Its still functional. He just tore the crap out of the lower half and left a ton of teeth marks and ripped off the pins/obd2 connection. USB is intact.

I'd be impressed if they fix that for $20! There is 1 missing. I forget which is supposed to be missing. But eitherway the entire plug structure is in bad shape.

Well either way its in bad shape and I spent an hour messing around and trying to line them up perfectly. I'm sure if I spent some more time I would get it to fit but it would still be a pain in my ass all the time. They said the plastic grommet on the bottom side is easy to replace and that it costs ~$10 but since I've only had it for a few months and the guy said he can relate to having a dog that chews on stuff they'd fix it gratis.

So A+ on cobb for great support!

Dam that looks bad. Can't believe people who are saying return the dog or that they would punish the dog. The dog will always love you back (assuming you treat it with care and love), unlike the car that will just give you water pump failures and waste gate rattles.

awesome service from cobb.

+1 Great service from cobb

As for the dog, hes still sitting here loving me and the cars giving me a boost leak and huge timing pulls. The dog will still be my buddy tomorrow, the car will still be pissing me off.

The truth. I'm in bed sick with strep right now and my german shepherd (who I adopted from a high kill pound 2 years ago at age 5) hasn't left my side. My car, on the other hand, doesn't care about me

AMEN. Screw the car. I'm gonna use and abuse my car. It's a mechanical object. My dog has more worth to me than most people.
