M3 control arms with 245 PSS up front

Background:
- recently switched to michelin PSS tires and went with a 245/275 setup.
- wheels up front are 19x8.5 et 35
- lowered on kw v2, rear on highest setting, front set up to match drop on rear (even with this high coil setting i have no wheel gap because of the bigger diameter PSS)
- no rubbing at all right now up front, but only about 4-5mm of clearance between tire and front spring

Question:
I'm getting the m3 control arms installed over this weekend and i know that it will add some camber to the front. My worry is that i dont have enough clearance and the front tire will now rub the suspension. Anyone have any suggestions to avoid this? spacers? anyone know how big of spacers i would need to avoid this?

M3 control arms only or the tension struts as well? The tension struts add the camber.

It's likely you will need spacers to avoid rubbing if you add negative camber, given how little clearance you have currently. I couldn't tell you the size; it depends on how much clearance you need. I have 235 PSS up front on OEM wheels; with -2.5 deg. camber I need a 10mm spacer to clear my struts.

I wouldn't plan on driving out of there without spacers. See if you can borrow some.

Tension struts do nothing for camber.

I misspoke. Yes the wishbones are responsible for the camber increase.

OP - you could search more but I think you're going to need spacers to clear the struts.

Wishbone links will only increase camber up to about -1.2 degrees. It will be close but I'd try without spacers just to see how close it is. If your alignment pins are drilled out, you can also push your struts out to reduce camber a little. I only had -1deg camber with m3 wishbone links

M3 control arms and tension rods here. I have Michelin PSS 255 F and 275 R. 18 inch wheels. Stock height with custom offset and width wheels. I rub slightly when going over bumps with the wheel turned all the way. The rubbing is on the outer side of the plastic wheel well liner and not the fender itself.

I think with some small adjustments on the fender, I can fit a 265 on the front and still not rub.

not really worried about rubbing against fender.. more worried about having enough clearance between the tire and the strut because of the added camber that the m3 arms bring. what offset are your wheels? and what total camber are you set to up front?

Max camber possible in my set up was -1.5 degrees. I think with Dinan strut plates, I can go another 0.5 - 1 degrees more, but that would be excessive.

My offset on the front is +27mm on a 9 inch wide wheel. I have plenty of clearance.

got a message from the shop doing the install. apparently they fit on the wheels with the m3 arms without spacers... sweet! ill have to call them tomorrow though and see what the camber is at up front. i think -1 to -1.5 should be good right?
