took some photos of ying and yang.

Hi Everyone,

Teutonicdan and I decided to take some pictures after work. We recently dropped our cars and put on wheels. Thanks to this board/community we were able to get information and ideas on modding our cars. From visually sampling other car/wheel combinations to offsets, lowering height etc etc allowed us to make an informed decision. Again, thanks!

Teutonicdan
E92 JB on Maya STM 4" rear lip 19x9 +23 19x10 +30 lowered with Tien SS

My first time with an SLR, and the pictures were touched up by a photoshopper. Came out pretty nice i think. Criticism and advice welcome as I would like to get better with this camera. I will try other landscapes next time to make use other functions of my camera.

Some acknowledgements:
Speedstar did the drop and the wheels. Fist pump for Albert!

And Soni. Just cause he's sexy.

good start to car photography.
where's the location?

I did find some of the wide angle shots distorted the cars too much, making them look very long.
Try shooting at the longer end of the lense and shooting at a lower f stops, that would eliminate the distortions and make the cars pop out abit more from the background

thanks for the input.

i think i know what you mean by f stop. what does f stop mean anyway? and what do you mean by shooting at the longer end of the lense?

Hey Saigon,

Thanks man, i actually had your wheels the last two years. VMR VB3s, but i found them so hard to clean. It looked hella good cause im into the OEM look, but thought this time i'd switch it up a bit.

thanks, I was going to do a CF wrap on the brushed alum. trim but I think it goes with the rims now so...maybe just a proper ceramic tint to make it stand out even more

F stop is lens aperture.

Let say you have a lense Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5, you will notice there is some corners distortion when you shooting on 10mm setting and hard to notice any distortion on 22mm.

Very nice rides.

Do like what you've done so far with your AW Vert, specially being the owner of one, looks really good
