missing the ease of the sstt

I had to remove the jbs2 last night because its going in for service and it was a huge pain in the ass.I havent done it in a while and its like the first time.I also messed up the male connectors on the jbs2 because the electrical tape made the wire ends sticky and soft and very fragile.I miss how easy the sstt was and am contemplating getting another one. My car feels A LOT slower now. Anyone else have problems taking out the jb2?

Yeah it takes some practice. Go ahead and ship it back and I'll replace those broken connectors for you under warranty.

I agree totally, the sliders are a real pain to remove & put back in. After installing the JBS2 the first time a few months ago, the tips of my fingers were raw!

Bujt when I installed the Hot Pill a few weeks ago, I carefully pulled the entire ECU (shiny aluminum box) assembly up from the plastic housing about 2 or 3 inches so the slider didn't hit the side of the ECU housing and the slider went back on a lot easier...

Is this technique OK Terry, I've had no problems?

Yeah no problem with that. After you've done it a few times you can generally get that large ECU connector on with ease, but it takes practice.

WOW.....Terry, Even when is "customer error", you are there to stand by them.

Foti, I Sold my SSTT as well. Waiting to see How well "Helix" will do, BUT the JB2H Begins to sound awesome, especially when the product has a made reputation already and its backed by Terrys 2nd to none Customer service.

I would expect 320-330rwhp depending on dyno conditions and whether you have any other mods.

Next time it goes on it will be with the hot pill. Helix sounds like a great tune.I like when people use my greek name in the right pronunciation. They call me Fred Foti is much better. I have no idea who started that.

The large ECU harness is a PITA!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like I'm gonna break it everytime I take out the Procede. I didn't realize the JB2 had the same PITA issues.
