Where to Buy Spark Plug Socket Locally
Is there any retail store that sells a spark plug socket for the N54 engine, or do I have to purchase the specialty one online? I am located in Orange County, CA.
On a side note, I've noticed everyone talking about the socket required being a 14 mm. But I have a new OEM plug and a 6-point 15 mm fits perfectly on it, but the 6-point 14 mm doesn't go on at all. What is the explanation for this? Thanks in advance! |

Got mine from ebay, really nice socket. Not the oem one.
It's supposed to be a 12 point ( if you have those 12 point Bosch plugs) so a larger 6 point might fit. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/3-8-1...item5641c7e56f and local to you to. I paid $15 shipped for a "Koch" one only because I should have the 12 point plugs. I haven't done them yet.

Thanks for the post. Unfortunately they don't sell items available for pickup. I ordered from there anyway but will just have to wait to put in my plugs. I have horrible misfiring with my JB4 and I am trying to troubleshoot.
