Future of I6

New to the BMW world with a so to speak, "Rich Girl Starter BMW." I really like the I6 on my E90. Smooth, enough power, decent gas mileage.....BUT looking at the current crop of BMW's I see a lot of turbo's. I don't really have confidence in air cooled turbos with little displacement.

What be the fate of the I6 in the BMW line???

A new turbo i6 is just out of thé drawing board so expect another 10 years of i6 are garanteed.

i had a E90 328 that i loved. the engine was very smooth. it was a daily driver at the time. BMW is all about trubos now

IL6 turbo's make great engines.. But, I just wish they would still create NA M car's

I6 (N58) has future. Mercedes is also going back to I6. But don't expect any I6 like S54 or 2JZ.
