Find a good deal on a 08-09 M5 manual, slam an exhaust on it and enjoy the best engine ever produced by the M division while you still can!! Probably the best engine you will find in a ~$35-40k car, close with the C63, but the M5 is more of a car for about the same money and it already took the big depreciation hit caused by the new model arrival so it will probably be your cheaper alternative!
I would not want an M5 for a many years but one year would be a fun trip, in your situation I'd do it just for the sake of driving an S85 for a while, can't beat this engine for price; http://<div class="youtube-playerCon.../iframe></div> |
