BBS LM redrill value effect

I am looking at purchasing a set of BBS LM's for my 335i. If I can find 5x120's they are too aggressive of an offset in the rear. I found a set locally of 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 both et38, but they are 5x114.3. I can reverse the faces to get an offset of approximately 25 for a good fitment. I will have a little less than 1700 in the set once redrilled and inserted by rotiform. I plan on keeping them for a while but obviously will sell them at one point. Has anyone had any experience with the value of redrilled wheels. I just don't want to end up with 1700 in wheels that I can only get 900 for. Thanks

Honestly,

Ive had many sets of wheels redrilled and as long as you get a good shop to do them... I dont see the value being affected that much.

Sure they wont be worth as much as a genuine set of 5x120's.... But they are still a premium wheel.

Im actually have a set of 5x114.3 wheels redrilled to 5x120 on thursday!

Goodluck! Or sell them to me

Redrilled wheels to me are junk. Even new wheels used for a month or two and you loose 20%-30%.

Value is relative to the market. I sold a set of redrilled 5x120 CCWs for the exact same price as a 5x120 set. It's more common now so people will still pay top dollar even though the bolt pattern has been modified.

It opens up your chances of finding a buyer if you ever sell them because they fit more cars but if it's going to affect the structural integrity then I wouldn't do it, but if you find a good shop then go for it if you want
