Just washed my car today, had to get rid of all the salt from the roads. Has anyone ever had a film on the inside of their windshield that was really hard to get off? It took me about 15 minutes to get it all cleaned up.

Yes, and it's a pain to deal with. I typical use Sonax's glass cleaner, which does a pretty decent job of removing the film.

Looking good muzz...and thanks again for the tires. Someday I'll start with mods, but I need to get all the issues worked out of this car first. I see a couple shops getting thrown around, anyone good that can diagnose CEL code P0171 and P0174? They are bank 1 and 2 lean...I'm thinking either a vacuum leak or bad MAF. I guess it could be a slew of other things too, but I want to find a place that won't rip me off. Also having issues with the radio shutting off on its own and coming back on. Charged the battery with the CTEK i just got, but that didn't fix it. Almost considered trading it in, but I'm gonna give it a shot.

After doing some research on the forum, it seems like the issue could be the 2 things you posted (MAF,Vacuum leak). I wonder how hard it is to take the MAF and clean it. I was searching for a vacuum line diaphragm but did not find one. If you can find one, you can follow the vacuum lines and see where the leak could be.

Yeah, I've seen a lot of people talking about cleaning the MAF when I was doing my research too, so I may give that a shot since it's the easiest/cheapest thing to do. Never done it before, but I can't imagine it's all that difficult. I've seen a quite a few people talking about using propane to find vac leaks, so I may consider giving it a shot. The guy I normally took my cars too said the smoke test will run me $100...not a bad deal, but I wanted to see what other shops had out there. Thanks for the info man...and sorry, I just realized the way I posted that seemed like I was kinda asking you about the issues. Nevertheless, thanks!
