with basic tools and lift, i could probably do it myself but it's too cold, i'm being lazy, lot of people suggest to leave it to professional, and i don't have lift so dyi would be PITA... all leads me to this... lol

im back now. i was just gone for 6 days. seriously though, it can be done with hand tools and rhino ramps. but you will be spending a bunch of time on your back. not sure if the helix requires trimming like a spearco does, but if it does youre going to need a dremel. took me about 6 hours.

according to what helix claims to be it's more of direct replacement than spearco and should take a lot less installing but apparantly i've never done such install so

hey David,

I found another guy down in renton/kent area that might be able to install the fmic.
I would need to look for his number through a friend of mine.
I'll let you know by Wednesday.

thanks george, if your chinese friend come in mid jan, i can wait for him and have him install both. dp is more of my primary concern than ic. i could probably have my mechanic shop install ic as well... just matter of price and convenient factor...

i'm thinking of having my dp's powder coated prior to install so will see what happen. thanks for the heads up...

p.s. did you get your vent guage installed yet? i ordered mine through GB and eric said he could help installing it... i will most likely visiting him next few weeks and hopefully procede v4 comes out by then so i can do the update at the same time...

nope, mine is still in the trunk. I'll give Eric a call and see if we can do the installation at the same time.
